20 Months Old!

Our little man turned 20 months on the 2nd. This is significant because Miss A was just a week over 20 months old when FJ was born. Can I imagine having a newborn right now?? No. F.J. just seems like a baby to me! But I know Miss A was just as small then too. I think she said more words though and I didn't have another child in the house to compare her to so I didn't realize just how little she was at the time.

Here are FJ's stats:
Weight-22 lbs.
Height-32 3/4 inches
Head circ.-49 c.m. (only 1 cm less that Miss A's head right now)

New things:
He has all 4 molars now but he is still missing those "eye teeth" so he has 12 teeth in all.

moo-for the sound a cow makes or if he sees a cow
nigh-a very southern sounding "neigh" for any horse he sees and the sound a horse makes

doggy-dog (he has moved up from saying "goggy")

bubble-for bubbles or water
If you ask him to say yes, he will nod his head.
If you ask for kisses he will give them to you and they now come with a little smacking sound.
Climbing-he climbs onto the kitchen chairs, the toilet seat, and onto the coffee table...all to my excitement and admonishing at the same time.

We removed one of our baby gates and the stairs have provided much entertainment for both children much to my chagrin.

 He loves being outdoors and seems to be in the business of replacing Bill Nye the Science Guy with his incredible eye for pointing out paramecia, protozoa and amoeba in standing water-

 

Right now he cannot stand baths...he often stands and cries during the whole thing which also means he avoids getting into the cute little baby pool we purchased. 

We inflated it over Memorial Day weekend and at first he only walked around it and put his hands into it.

 It took me getting into the pool for him to finally get into it too...
