First Time in the Buggy

I figured it was time for Rosie to try sitting in the buggy (cart for you Northerners) at Wegman's.

Of course, I have a cart cover (for you germaphobes that might be mortified right now) but it only seats one child. No, i did not purchase the twin cover when I only had Miss A so therefore I can't really use the cover too much right now but Wegman's has "cart wipes" so I just use those and pray my children don't pick up something really nasty and resistant to the wipe from the buggy.

Miss A went to WKIDS during two of these pics, just in case you were wondering where she was hiding.

An Unexpected X-Ray

Had an appointment for Miss A yesterday to discuss her chronic hemmed-up state.

The NP felt her tummy and checked...ahem...other areas.

Then the NP sent her for an X-Ray of her tummy in the building next door.

The challenge? I had all three of the kids with me.

But on we went and she did fabulously.

Update: The X-Ray came back with significant stool build up so she has to be on Miralax daily for 6 months along with increasing water, fruits/veggies and bowel retraining (making sure she tries to have a BM twice a day). I also had to make a GI doc appointment for her. The first one they had would be while we were in Cape May for Labor Day so I moved it to the week we get back. They are really booked and the NP had warned me of that. So she will see the GI doc on Sept. 5th.

Painted Nails, Cookies and a Louisiana Dinner

While my mom was here, she painted Miss A's fingernails for the first time and they also made chocolate chip cookies together.
The last night she was here, we went to The Cajun Experience to have dinner. It was delish!

She is 9 Months Old!

Weight-18.2 lbs
Height-28 1/2 in
Head-45 cm

She has said-
Mama
Baba
Da-da-do
Ga-Ga
She likes to look around corners if she hears someone talking.

She wants to be on the move. If she's on her belly, she will push herself backwards...this is the way that all of our kids started moving.

Sitting up, she will use her arms to sort of push herself around so she is normally sat in one spot and then when I look over a few minutes later, she is in a different spot!

She started clapping and it's adorable.

She might even be waving from time to time...she certainly waves her hand sometimes and it appears to be waving.

She got her first tooth when we were on vacation in Cape May! The first morning we were there, I noticed a tooth! So that puts her a whole month and a half sooner than her sister and just half a month sooner than her brother.

FJ at 2 1/2

Our little man turned 2 1/2 in April and it took a while to get a good pic of him because...well do I really need to explain the behavior of a 2 and a half year old boy??

This guy loves the movie Cars and anything that moves on wheels-cars, trucks, any kind of working vehicle, motorcycles-and anything that moves in the air-planes, helicopters, jets, space ships.

He has some energy too and I am sure you are not surprised.

He has just started enjoying drawing when his older sister starts coloring a picture at the kitchen table.

He can sit and watch a movie for a little while...which is nice if I need to get some dinner on the table or get in the shower in the morning....if you need to know what his favorite movie is...see above.

He wears 2T and really likes wearing his "bip bops" (flip flops). The ones in the picture above were hand me downs but he got some new ones recently...with pirates on them and they have become his faves.

To my dismay, he likes to jump on the couch. A LOT! Which means he wants to pull all the cushions off the couch and bounce right on the springs...of course.

He has started singing occasionally which is very cute and from the previous posts, you know that he is potty trained and sleeping in a toddler bed now.

He prefers to dress himself most of the time...even if that means his shorts are on backwards.

Will fill in the stats below later-

Weight-27 lbs
Height-35 1/2 inches
He wears 2T in clothing.

This little guy has the cutest little voice that he does when he's being silly and it is so funny. He loves to smile and laugh.

We love our son and feel so blessed to be his mama and daddy and to have him in our family!
