She's wearing one of the onesies I appliqued before she was born! It was going to be her going home outfit but obviously, that didn't happen as she ended up in the NICU and I didn't want to change her outfit at the hospital when she came home that night.
At 1 month-Rosie weighed 11 lbs, 2 oz. (90-95th percentile)
measured 21 3/4 inches for length (75-90th percentile)
and head measured 39 cm (75-90th percentile)
Yes, can you believe it?? I have a baby in the 90th percentile for weight! I LOL'd when the doc told me that as you know that my children tend to hang around the 50th and below on weight and height.
(At her first appointment which was the next morning after her NICU stay, she had dropped down to 8 pounds, 10 ounces.)
At 2 months, Rosie weighed 12 lbs, 11 oz (90-95th percentile)
length-23 1/2 inches (75-90th percentile)
head-40 1/4 cm (75th percentile)
She went in for an appointment yesterday afternoon (12/20) and she weighed 13 pounds and 6 ounces.
She has relux and is on Zantac. She has projectile vomited four times since mid-November so I took her in yesterday and her they increased her dosage.
She has an overly large soft spot which the pediatricians are checking each time to make sure it is closing properly.
**There's some concern with her hearing. Because of her NICU stay and because she was on antibiotics so early in life, she is at risk for hearing loss. She passed her newborn screening. My ped said she would need to be reevaluated at 6 months. However, she is not turning to sounds yet and if she continues to not turn to sounds by 4 months, then they will send her to be tested sooner. She startles when she hears loud noises so she is hearing something...I suppose there is the question of just how much she is hearing.
If you are a praying person, please pray that she her hearing is just fine.
