National Infertility Awareness Week
National Infertility Awareness Week (NIAW) is coming up...it's April 25th-May 2nd. Many of us know at least one person in our lives who is going through infertility or someone who has been through it. Next week, please take the time to pray for them or keep them in your thoughts. For those of us that have children, this would be a great time to count our blessings or thank God for the children we have. Sometimes we may never know the struggles of the ones around us. Video of Audrey Walking...a month ago!
This is a video taken a month ago when Audrey was still in the beginner walking stages. I know I am late with this but thought I would post it now that I know how to post videos again.

I have 2 heartbeats
Yes, I have 2 heartbeats right now and that's because we are expecting baby #2 around October 30th!!! Audrey will be a big sister!
We had the triple screen ultrasound done last week and below are 4 pics of our little pumpkin at 12 weeks:
You can click on the photo to make it larger. The upper left picture is the baby facing down, the upper right photo is a 4D pic of the baby. You can see the head and little hands, arms, legs, and feet and even part of the umbilical cord.
On the bottom left is another 4D pic and on the bottom right is a profile pic.
We would appreciate your prayers for an easy pregnancy and smooth, quick labor and delivery.
Right now I am feeling pretty good. The only thing that I have to complain about is my heart racing and pounding. It's been doing that almost every day for the past few weeks. It does it a lot when I lay down to take a nap. I saw a cardiovascular group about 2 weeks ago and they did an EKG. I am returning tomorrow for an echocardiogram and will be given a Holter monitor to monitor my heart rate for 24 hours. I ask for your prayers that my heart will not continue to race throughout the rest of the pregnancy. There was a cyst that was discovered on my right ovary and I am also praying for that to go away. Thanks for your prayers and thoughts!
**Edited to add: I had the echocardiogram done today and they did not find any structural issues with my heart which is a good thing. I am now wearing the Holter monitor that I have to wear for 24 hours and return it tomorrow. I have about 4 electrodes hooked up to me and it should be interesting keeping Audrey's little hands away from them! Since sitting at the computer, my heart has already been pounding so I am very glad to be wearing this monitor so it will record that.

The Atkins family visit
My cousin, Paige, her husband, Russ, their children, Harrison and Bailynn, and their dog, Toby, are moving from Boston back to Louisiana. On their way back, they stopped here to stay for the weekend and to go to D.C. We had such a fantastic time and we miss them and can't wait to see them again! Harrison is a ball of fun! He is so tall and so active. We were constantly impressed with his strength and all the things he could do, such as climbing out of a Pack and Play!! He is such a good-natured, happy guy with a wonderful smile and we loved having him here. Pretty little Bailynn has such a sweet, peaceful spirit and she was also very happy and content. Toby was a great dog who was so quiet, we hardly knew he was even here! He was so well-behaved...we were amazed a little dog could behave like that. Paige and Russ are such great parents and we have loved getting to see them and their family 3 times in the past year.

New Jersey Passover and Easter
We had a wonderfully fun time in NJ for Passover and Easter. The only downside was that Audrey got so hemmed up that we had to page the pediatrician on call on Saturday twice to get some ideas on how to get her unbound. We had been giving her goat's milk, fruit, veggies, fruit juices, warm lemon water, karo syrup and water (which she didn't like) and nothing was working. After many tears (by me and Audrey) and Little Tummy's laxative drops, everything was fine and Audrey was once again a happy toddler. Since that time, the doctor has suggested taking Audrey off cow's milk and putting her on Lactaid milk. She said that sometimes people with lactose intolerance can have the opposite symptoms and have constipation instead of the other. So sorry if you are a random person who found my blog and you just read about a toddler's digestive issues!
Celebrating Passover and Easter was lots of fun in New Jersey. As a believer celebrating Passover has special meaning to Evan and me as this is something that Jesus celebrated. Although I know it has changed over the years, it is still amazing to celebrate this observance and to think of what Jesus must have done during this time. This was Audrey's second Passover and the first year she got to try matzoh. It was exciting getting to see her try it and I look forward to seeing our future children observe this special time with food and reading of the Haggadah.
On Easter, we visited a local church that I found on google, Breakpoint Community Church. They had 2 services so we went to the earlier one because that worked for Audrey's nap schedule. She spent part of the service with us but when she didn't want to be still anymore (imagine that!), we took her back to the nursery. One of the worship leaders actually ended up holding her because she cried when we dropped her off back there. I had no idea she cried till after the service when they told us and when we picked her up, she was content. What great worship leaders they have there! :-)
While we were in NJ, we got to visit two farms while we were there so Audrey got to see lots of animals! I am posting a slideshow below to view all the pics:

Easter's coming...
We are heading to NJ to stay with Evan's Aunt Sharon and Uncle Rob on Wednesday afternoon and we will be staying till Monday. We will be joining them for a Passover Seder and celebrating Easter with them. We can't wait to see them and the rest of the family! They get to see Audrey walking and playing peek-a-boo plus some of her antics.
I wanted to post some random pics that I've taken recently-

Maile recently received a huge box of cloth diapers from a family member who had quit. Maile decided to give it a try but wasn't into it so she let Carrie and me stop by to take whatever we wanted. As you can see, I hit "pay dirt"!!! Most of them are newborn sizes so they can't be used now but some of them were larges so Audrey can wear those. Here is a picture of all the diapers I got...in case you are wondering how many there are: 51 diapers, 14 covers and 1 small swim diaper-

Just doing some walking in an outfit that my grandmother gave Audrey for Christmas-
We went for a playdate last week at my friend, Julie's house. Here's Miss A checking out the older girls driving around the backyard-
Trying to walk in the grass...check out those chunky arms and lack of defined wrists...I love it!
Our rock star trying to go up the slide the wrong way...isn't that a milestone?? Oh and the cute shirt she has on was sent by Nancy...she got it at a music conference and sent it to Miss A-

Audrey got her first pair of real shoes from Stride Rite last week. The style is called "Stella" (Scarlett-I thought you might appreciate that!) I tried to get some good pics with her wearing them and I got a few-(there's that cute wrist...or lack thereof...again!)
So maybe Audrey wasn't feeling the photo shoot...I think the right caption for this picture would be "Take that camera and get out of here!"

The same day I got her shoes, I finally bought her some hair clips too. Had to get a closeup...if you click on the photo, you should be able to see the slightest hint of her tooth that cut through...it's on the top right...

On that note, I will end this post with this picture. We had tons of rain last week...especially on Friday. I opened the patio door so Audrey could really get a sense of a real downpour-
