**I want to give credit for the photo at the top of the blog. The photo of Miss A and F.J. was taken by Lindsley at
Appleseed Photography!
This will probably be a quick post because we just got home from brunch/lunch at Gram's house and Miss A is napping (and she just naps for an hour).
I can't tell ya Miss A's weight or height because I haven't checked them lately but she is saying tons!! She says something new every day!
Her favorite/most common words or phrases:
Almo (Elmo)
It's a babies (It's a baby! -when she sees her baby brother)
Hi
Chickie (Chicken)
Sticky (Sticker)
Wah-er (Water)
Sears (Stairs)
Hears (Hair)
Ears (Ear)
Sues (Shoes)
Alboat (Sailboat)
Tick-you (Thank you)
Aaaa-Man (Amen)
Meat-for lunch meat
She says "thank you" when she brings us stuff and when we put food on her tray or give her a toy or when we dress her.
She started saying "amen" after our prayers at meals last week and then she follows it up with clapping her hands and saying "yay".
She has a habit of pushing her hair out of her eyes when she doesn't have a hair clip in and she loves putting on socks, babylegs, and her daddy's socks.
She has reverted to waking up super early some mornings (4:30!!) and we've just been bringing her in to our bed. But as you can imagine she doesn't go right back to sleep if she sees me nursing her baby brother or he is making any assortment of newborn noises (grunting, squeaking, crying, etc).
Mr. F.J. is turned 3 weeks old on Friday! At his 2 week appointment, he weighed 6 pounds, 15.5 ounces and was 19 1/4 inches long. His umbilical cord fell off at one week and has healed well thankfully. His second PKU test came back normal...a huge relief to us! His cheeks have filled out and he is looking more like Miss A did when she was a newborn. He's been having some gas and reflux issues in the late afternoon and at night which makes for a very fussy baby! Our friend, L, who has a photography business, came by last Friday and took some wonderful photos of F.J. and some of Miss A too. I will post those soon!
Here are some pics of us and our kiddos...we feel so blessed to now have 2 children!!
