Our Easter weekend was filled with Passover and Easter celebrations.
We started off Friday with an Easter egg hunt with friends. Miss A is the one in the yellow raincoat-
On Saturday, we had Matzo crackers in place of our usual sandwich bread for lunch and for the rest of the week-
Saturday evening, we had a Messianic Passover Seder here with just our little family and E's mom. Rosie "reclined" in her swing-
While the rest of us had nice cushiony pillows to use for reclining at the table. Miss A added a happy apple to the table for decoration-
After the first portion of the seder, Miss A and FJ went looking for the afikomen...Miss A found it!
FJ still looking-
Grandmon with Rosie-
The next morning, we had Easter baskets greeting us-
Well, Miss A actually made it downstairs before we did and this is what I discovered when I came downstairs
after hearing some crinkling of paper... She said "Mama! I like all my stuff!" in a chocolate laced breath while embracing me with a hug. Alas, she had eaten her Easter bunny before we even made it downstairs.
FJ enjoying his chocolate...boy did he need a haircut! (He got one very soon after Easter.)
We took some pics in our new Spring attire and a butterfly wand that was a gift in Miss A's Easter basket-
Rosie's dress was a huge score at BabyGap. It was originally $49.99 and it was marked down to $12.99!
Before we headed out to Easter services that morning-
After church, we headed to Grammy's for some more hunting of gifts and a delicious brunch-
Family pic...we really don't have too many of these-
Grammy with her grandchildren-
You can see E taking a nap on the couch to the side-
Miss A picking an azalea from our bush in front of our house-
Miss A wearing her flower headband from her basket-
During naps and afterwards, we dyed Easter eggs back at our house-
I have a few more pics to add that I will add later!
