Comedy Night Date Night

We were gifted tickets by my father in law to see Kevin James do his stand up live in D.C.
We got a sitter for our 3 kiddos and went during the week. He was only here for one night-a Wednesday. It was lots of fun and we laughed so hard we were crying.

Trying to get some good pics with my iPhone. The first guy is leaving the stage and Kevin James is in the background-

Our Passover and Easter Celebrations

Our Easter weekend was filled with Passover and Easter celebrations.
We started off Friday with an Easter egg hunt with friends. Miss A is the one in the yellow raincoat-

On Saturday, we had Matzo crackers in place of our usual sandwich bread for lunch and for the rest of the week-

Saturday evening, we had a Messianic Passover Seder here with just our little family and E's mom. Rosie "reclined" in her swing-
While the rest of us had nice cushiony pillows to use for reclining at the table. Miss A added a happy apple to the table for decoration-

After the first portion of the seder, Miss A and FJ went looking for the afikomen...Miss A found it!
 FJ still looking-
 Grandmon with Rosie-
The next morning, we had Easter baskets greeting us-
Well, Miss A actually made it downstairs before we did and this is what I discovered when I came downstairs after hearing some crinkling of paper... She said "Mama! I like all my stuff!" in a chocolate laced breath while embracing me with a hug. Alas, she had eaten her Easter bunny before we even made it downstairs.
FJ enjoying his chocolate...boy did he need a haircut! (He got one very soon after Easter.)

We took some pics in our new Spring attire and a butterfly wand that was a gift in Miss A's Easter basket-
Rosie's dress was a huge score at BabyGap. It was originally $49.99 and it was marked down to $12.99!

Before we headed out to Easter services that morning-
After church, we headed to Grammy's for some more hunting of gifts and a delicious brunch-

Family pic...we really don't have too many of these-
 Grammy with her grandchildren-
You can see E taking a nap on the couch to the side-
Miss A picking an azalea from our bush in front of our house-
Miss A wearing her flower headband from her basket-
During naps and afterwards, we dyed Easter eggs back at our house-

I have a few more pics to add that I will add later!

My Littlest Lady is 6 Months Old!

Rosie turned 6 months old a couple of weeks ago so here's the latest on her-
Weight-15.9 lbs.-50th%
Height-26 1/4 in.-75th%
Head-43 1/2 cm.-50-75th%
(I include this info mainly for my mom and family that aren't nearby in case they are interested and for my own memory. Plus it makes it easy to look back on here and see where each child was at during each stage.)

She had some sort of virus last week that caused her to go from having 2 poopy diapers a day to 6. Thus giving her a really bad diaper rash that required one Saturday visit to the pediatrician and two prescription creams plus Desitin to finally get rid of it.

What she's up to-
waking up about 2-3 times a night...this is really draining me
getting one meal of cereal a day
rolling from belly to back when she is put on her belly
still rolling to her side
bringing toys to her mouth

She is easily entertained by her big sister and big brother-

She continues to wear the dresses her big sis wore-

She continues to have give us big, beautiful smiles-
I cannot believe it's been half a year since she was born...I want her to be a newborn again but I also enjoy seeing the new milestones she hits. Sigh.

2 Days

I'm a mama to three beautiful children.
I'm a mama to three children who have their own opinions and wants.
I feel like I get about 2 days a week that my children actually get along well and don't fight or cry or wake someone up from a nap. (Someone cries every day but I mean excessive crying.)
The other 5 days are a different story.
What about you? What are your days and weeks like? Anyone else like me?

Pinterest Playtime

I saw this on Pinterest but didn't have spaghetti or Cheerios. So when I finally remembered to pick those items up at Wegman's then I could finally set this up! The kiddos did spend lots of time just having fun stacking Cheerios and smashing them into the play dough and I recommend it if you have children my age.
