Audrey's Antics

My dear daughter loves to surprise her mama! Yesterday, much to my chagrin...er...surprise, I discovered Audrey had put two of her books in with her dirty diaper laundry. This was of course after I had already done one rinse of her diapers! OH Audrey Amalie! How many times must I say that books don't go in the diaper pail?? Nor do bibs, shirts, pants, socks, towels, washcloths, etc. So, needless to say, one of the books has gone to book heaven and the other one might be salvageable!

Audrey enjoys getting into tight spaces like baskets and under stools. See below for some photos of these fun antics:

We had a very big snow here on March 2nd...you know the saying "March comes in like a lion and leaves like a lamb." Well, that certainly holds true so far for the month of March here in Virginia.
Evan scraping off the cars-The view from our doorway after the sidewalk had been scraped-
We live in Sterling which bumps right up to Herndon and according to the news Herndon had 7 inches of snow so I know we got somewhere near that amount in Sterling.

Audrey enjoys putting items of clothing on her head. Recently she had the opportunity to put her daddy's winter hat on her head and to try out her grandpapa's do rag/head scarf that he wears when he rides his motorcycle.

We recently went to a 1st birthday party for Isaac, Kyle and Abra. Here are some photos of the kiddos trying out cupcakes for the first time and some playtime-
We took Audrey to one of our neighborhood tot lots recently when we had a warm weekend. Evan got in on some of the swing action with Audrey and enjoyed a little motorcycle ride with Audrey in the side car. Audrey's grandpapa would be so proud!

One Sunday night recently, our friends-Carrie and Spencer-spontaneously had us over for dinner after running into us at the outlet mall. Because we had no pj's for Audrey and we knew she would fall asleep on the way home, we borrowed some from Isaac and we took it as an opportunity to take a cute photo-
