8 Months Old!

Once again, I'm late on the monthly post...
Her weight-18.2 lbs
Height-27.5 inches
Head-45 cm

Rosie is wearing mostly 9 month/6-9 month/6-12 month clothing depending on the brand.

She's been sitting up for longer periods and enjoys play time with her siblings. She wakes up 2-3 times a night...usually around midnight or 2-3 a.m. And again around 5:30/6:00 a.m. Then she's usually up for the day around 7:30/8:00...depending on when the sibs wake up.

She has said "da-da" a couple of times as well as "ma-ba"...which is what her siblings said when they first began babbling.

We call her by her first name and don't shorten it but we also call her Rosie too or her first and middle name together. We are kind of opposite of what most people do...we tend to make our kids names longer...not shorter.

We've been asked if we will call her Addy and the answer right now is "no" because in the preschool/baby/toddler world, there are plenty of Addy's and Maddy's so we don't want to give her a super common nickname right now.

That's the answer now...as I've learned in parenthood, opinions and minds change...

This girl is delightful! She is happy pretty much all the time. The only time she gets really upset is at night if she is continuously awakened by her older siblings.
The ladies in the church nursery say she is happy all the time and so chill and laid back.
