We went to the beach 6 times during our vacation...why do I need to post the exact number? Because it's a record for us. This year we made sure to make the most of our time
and the most of the time when our kids weren't melting down. So, after breakfast most mornings, we headed back upstairs, got suited up, sunscreened, and packed for the beach.
Some days it was just the 4 1/2 of us but other days, Rob would join us or Sharon would join us. One day we even had E's mom and E's grandmother on the beach with us too. Having E's grandmother there was such a treat and so special.
Caveat:This post will be picture heavy!
When we went to the beach, we enjoyed trying out chairs-
We loved having Great-Grandmom there-
We enjoyed digging up sand and making sand and drip castles-
Walking around was nice too-
Sitting on the sand and looking at the waves was a nice way to pass the time-
Napping wasn't a bad option either-
Hanging out with Uncle Rob was also fun to do-
Collecting seaweed kept us busy-
As did taking pictures with mommy-
After having plenty of fun and getting plenty of sun at the beach, we headed home to this outdoor shower to rinse off-
One evening we ventured out to the beach for some kids music and a movie-
But the weather had different plans-
And we got poured on and had to head home!
We are truly beach people and enjoyed our time there immensely.
