Eleven Months

Lucan turned 11 months on the 24th.

To make this easy and because I need to hit the hay, here's a screen shot from my Instagram post of how I summed up the past month:

Ten Months

Mr. Lucan turned 10 months on 3/24. 

From your little nose to your little toes, I can't get enough of your cuteness. 

You aren't crawling yet but you can sit up for a while. You have just started spinning around on your belly to reach for something you want. You act like you want to get out of my arms and crawl even though you aren't mobile yet.

You have started clapping and it's adorable.

You like puréed foods so it's really enjoyable making baby food for you. You really liked the gumbo I made for Mardi Gras.

You have 5 teeth now and have tried eating some puffs. 

You still scream plenty especially when you've had enough sitting in the grocery cart. 

People comment on how happy and smiley you are. I agree and sometimes I say that you are so happy until you're not.

You have no problem letting us know loudly how you feel. I'm glad you know what you want and need and you try hard to let us know.

I love you so very much and I thank God for you every day.

9 Months

Little L is 9 months old.

Two facts:

He's adorable 

I'm biased (I'm okay with that.)

He isn't crawling yet. He doesn't pull up to stand but does like for us to hold him so he can put weight on his feet. He can sit up for a while but eventually (like say after 15 minutes), he falls over. He can spin himself in a circle while on his belly. Although he has said "da-da", he hasn't said that in a while. He smiles so easily but can also be very unhappy if it nap or bed time. And by unhappy, I mean screaming. 

He's got three teeth. Two bottom

and 1 top tooth that made its debut on Valentine's Day.

He's working on a second top tooth now.

He is following in the footsteps of his siblings and especially his big brother as a baby: he weighs 18 lbs, 4 ounces (10-25th%), height 26 7/8 (2-5th%---this is lower than I think FJ was at at this age), Head circumference is 17 3/4 (50th%). His head has stayed in the 50th percentile consistently.

He's got the snaggle tooth thing going on right now and...you guessed it...it's adorable.

Newborn Pics

My wonderful and sweet and talented friend, Kristen, (http://www.kristenthomasphoto.com/)generously offered to do newborn pics for us while she was newly pregnant with her third baby. These were taken when L was 3 weeks old. His colic/reflux/gas was in full blown force so you will notice him crying a lot in these photos.
